Your annual conference voices"I love the objective, data-driven analysis." "He [John Hattie] is definitely a great spokesman for increasing the professionalism of teaching by holding our methods to evidence."
These are just a few of the comments from the more than half (52%) of the nine hundred forty registrants at Conference 2015 – Visible Learning with John Hatttie, who completed the online evaluation form. LCEEQ wishes to thank everyone who took the time to submit a written evaluation. You can find a sample of the information collected by clicking on the link below. The complete Conference Report will be available on the LCEEQ Website in the near future. LCEEQ is grateful to Corwin who donated a $250 book certificate to a participant who completed the online evaluation. The lucky winner, chosen at random from amongst the 491 submissions was David Meloche of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. Congratulations, David.

LCEEQ Inc. ExplainedSince its inception six years ago, LCEEQ has been using the fiduciary services of the New Frontiers School Board. The Quebec Treasury Board has recently reviewed its processes and will no longer approve transfers to fiduciary School Boards. As a result, an alternative funding mechanism for LCEEQ needed to be identified. After analysis, the most efficient scenario was for LCEEQ to receive funding directly. In order to receive a direct subsidy from MELS, LCEEQ had to be a registered not-for-profit organization found in the official “registre des enterprises”. Therefore, LCEEQ applied and received status as an incorporated not-for-profit organization. LCEEQ will now handle its own financial affairs and be audited accordingly. The LCEEQ will continue to administer a 1.5 million dollar budget annually of which approximately seven hundred thousand is distributed through the Professional Development and Innovations Grants (PDIG) project.
