Share Your Original Rich Math Tasks

After every Mathematics workshop, be it a webinar or the August Summer Institute, LCEEQ sends out an online survey to participants. We do read the feedback carefully and attempt to address the expressed needs of the wider community.

A frequent  request is to create a “bank” of rich math tasks. LCEEQ has secured some funding to start collecting tasks. It will be far from a full “bank” but it’s a start. We are looking for ORIGINAL rich math tasks created by Québec teachers for the Québec program. (We cannot disrespect copyright issues, so they MUST BE original!)

The submitted  tasks will be vetted by the provincial Math Consultant Team to ensure they meet the criteria as presented in LCEEQ workshops and are in keeping with the QEP Programme.  Teachers who submit original tasks which meet the criteria and are accepted by LCEEQ,  will be entered into a monthly draw for pedagogical materials related to rich tasks (e.g.. Professional texts ).  Selected tasks  will be available on the LCEEQ website.

Feel free to write to math@lceeq.ca with any questions.
