Over the course of two days we will work together to build effective strategies to implement in your classroom that will enable your students to become competent readers and writers. Through the use of children’s literature we will demonstrate methods for integrating technology and planning the ELA
curriculum in a way that encourages student learning.
Assessment of that learning needs to be appropriately placed throughout the course of the year so that you can use that information to facilitate further learning.
You will be working with Donna Sinclair and Amy Curry. Break-out sessions will be organized to direct the focus towards specific and effective strategies for Cycle 1 and, Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 teachers.
