Big Ideas in K-2
January 31, 2023 & May 11, 2023

Audience: Preschool Teachers, Elementary Cycle 1 Teachers, Resource Teachers, School-based administrators
Time: 9:00 - 11:00AM & 1:00 - 3:00PM

These sessions will focus on the Big Ideas related to understanding natural numbers less than 1000, operating on natural numbers less than 1000, understanding fractions, and linear measurement.

Big Ideas in Elementary Cycle 2
January 18, 2023 & May 4, 2023

Audience: Elementary Cycle 2 Teachers, Resource Teachers, School-based administrators
Time: 9:00 - 11:00AM & 1:00 - 3:00PM

These sessions will focus on the Big Ideas related to understanding natural numbers less than 10 000, operating on natural numbers less than 10 000, understanding fractions, and understanding decimal numbers

January 16, 2023 & April 17, 2023

Audience: Elementary Cycle 3 Teachers, Resource Teachers, School-based administrators

These sessions will focus on the Big Ideas related to understanding fractions, operating on fractions, understanding decimal numbers and operating on decimal numbers.

Big Ideas in Secondary Cycle 1
January 24, 2023 & April 24, 2023

Audience: Secondary Cycle 1 Teachers, Resource Teachers, School-based administrators
Time: 9:00 - 11:00AM & 1:00 - 3:00PM

These sessions will focus on the Big Ideas related to proportional reasoning, understanding the rudiments of Algebra, manipulating algebraic expressions, and understanding percentage..
