Global Commitment Through Local Action

February 8-9, 2021

The LCEEQ Annual Conference is a hallmark professional development activity in the English-speaking Educational Community in Québec. Attendance in the last several years has exceeded seven hundred educators from all corners of the province.

The Impact of Covid-19 is definitely being felt as we prepare for this important annual event. Conferences all over the globe have been cancelled or versions of what was originally designed are being offered in a virtual format. LCEEQ is no different at this time, and has recently made the the decision to offer a virtual Conference in February 2021.

Participants have always maintained that a real strength of this annual professional learning session is the quality and diversity of the local presenters. This is your opportunity to share your expertise.

You have a great deal to offer educators across the province – this is the time for action. You are strongly encouraged to submit a presentation proposal. Join an exciting team of invited speakers including:

  • Andy Hargreaves, Research Professor in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College and holds Visiting or Honorary Professorships at the University of Ottawa, Hong Kong University, Swansea University, and the University of Stavanger in Norway. He is the author of several books.

  • Homa Sabet Tavangar’s work has bridged topics from global competitiveness to global citizenship; economic development to storytelling; fostering empathy, collaboration, inclusion, leadership and creative problem-solving.
