DEELA – The ES and LES Library for English Language Arts

DEELA

DEELA is an educational resource designed to provide teachers with an array of material that can be used in the classroom for teaching and assessment purposes. Its roots are based in the English Language Arts program that is part of the Québec Education curriculum, however, the spirit of DEELA touches a broad spectrum of topics and issues that stimulate reading, writing and talk in the classroom setting.

A brand new Grade 4 ES was recently added to the library and a new Secondary 2 ES will be added shortly!

Part I of the two-part residential workshop series took place in mid-April. The final three days will take place in August 2015. Although registration for the current year is closed there is likelihood that a similar session may be offered in the future. Learn more about the project here so you can register next year.
