The LCEEQ Newsletter - Issue 007 - The Summer 2015 Edition

Balancing Work and Home Life – A Constant Challenge

There are so many demands made on our time that it is often difficult to balance our professional and personal lives. This is particularly true for school administrators with young families. LCEEQ, in collaboration with the Lester B. Pearson School Board, is offering a workshop featuring Dr. Sonia Lupien, Director of the Center for Studies in Human Stress, to examine ways to lessen the anxiety of dealing with this home/school juggling act. Participants are encouraged to attend as couples so as to consider the strategies offered as a team. Provisions will be offered to administrators at a distance from the workshop location to view a live webcast.

Summer Hiatus

This is the final edition of The LCEEQ Newsletter for the current school year. We take this opportunity to wish all LCEEQ members and followers a wonderful summer holiday, you certainly have earned it! Take the opportunity to rest, relax, and to do those things you enjoy but just do not have the time to do during the hectic school year. Although the Newsletter team will be taking a respite as well, we are always looking for ideas as to how to better serve our readers so if you have suggestions over the summer months please pass them along. Happy summer!

Just one last piece of important information before we go... congratulations to A. Wilkins, of the Lester B. Pearson School Board, who found the hidden LCEEQ logo referred to in our previous issue and has won a treat at the Spa at Manoir St. Sauveur.
