LCEEQ PROMOTES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

PDIG Launch

Funding

Each year the LCEEQ makes funds available to support professional development. This may be through onsite training, innovative practices, or through visits to see exemplary projects in action. We are initiating the application process for the next academic year at this time so that decisions can be made in a timely fashion. In this way, all approved projects can get started early in the new school year.

Please read the Project Funding 2018-2019 Guidelines carefully before embarking on an application for either a PDIG Grant or a John Killingbeck Teacher Administrator Scholarship Grant. It is important that you have a good understanding of the requirements before submitting your application.

There are limited funds available and there are always more requests than can be accommodated so it is important that you make the best case possible for your application. To read the complete administrative guidelines click here.

Annual Conference Evaluations Winner

Monthly Winner

More than half of the participants who attended the recent LCEEQ Annual Conference, The Thinking Classroom, took the time to fill out the online evaluation form. A very special “thank you” to those who did so as this provides very helpful information as we plan for future events.

Ruben Azevedo, interim Vice-Principal at Rosemount High School at the English Montreal School Board was chosen at random to receive the prize for completing the survey. He lists his interests as including reading, going to the movies, swimming and travelling. Ruben received two fifty-dollar gift cards, one from The Keg, and the other from Cinema Guzzo.
