“Well Being – Being Well”

February 11-12, 2019

The LCEEQ Annual Conference is a hallmark professional development activity in the English-speaking Educational Community in Québec. Annual attendance in the last several years has exceeded seven hundred educators from all corners of the province.

Participants have always maintained that a real strength of this annual professional learning session is the quality and diversity of the local presenters. This is your opportunity to share your expertise. You are invited to submit a presentation proposal.

Join an exciting team of invited speakers including:

  • Dr. Jean Clinton - Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University, Hamilton
  • Dr. Bruce Ferguson – University of Toronto and Hospital for Sick Children
  • Dr. Nancy Heath - a James McGill Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University
  • Dr. Ian Manion - Director of Youth Mental Health Research at The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research, Ottawa
  • Dr. John Miller - Professor with the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE)
  • Dr. Michael Ungar - Principal Investigator for the Resilience Research Centre at Dalhousie University, Halifax

Consideration will be given to individual and small groups of presenters. Simply complete the online Call for Proposals. Check the link below to see possible presentation topics.

You have a great deal to offer other educators across the province – this is the time for action.
