LCEEQ Takes Stock and Looks Ahead

Annual Seminar

An effective organization needs to stop every now and again to take a hard look at what has been going on and to set a direction for the future. LCEEQ goes through this annual worthwhile exercise in order to provide the best possible services to the English Educational Community.

Leadership

The third Goal of the LCEEQ Strategic Plan is “to support professional development to meet the needs of the English Educational Community”. The Leadership for School Improvement Project which has existed for eleven years is a prime example of this goal in action. Read about the project and its impact on leadership in our community.

March Winner

Monthly Winner

Marie-Eve Frenette has been teaching French Second Language at Evergreen School for the Lester B. Pearson School Board for more than fifteen years. Traditionally she taught Grade 6 but switched to Grade 4 this year and is delighted with that decision as she is having a great year. Her quest is to discover new ways to motivate her students to learn French, to explore, and to surpass themselves. She is very keen on science, especially the introduction of robotics. Marie-Eve is a proud mother of two beautiful, active boys.

As the LCEEQ prize winner for the month of March, she received a one-hundred-dollar gift certificate from Indigo/Chapters. You, too, can win by simply logging into your LCEEQ account on a regular basis.
